Featured item! See it in don't tell them it's math SET Game This game is one of my favorites and is a regular hit at parties. It’s great to have going as a side game or a friendly icebreaker. It’s a wonderful game that involves logic and mathematical thinking—but don’t tell anyone, we’ve found that even the most math-averse enjoy playing it! Friends introduced us to it in graduate school and we’ve enjoyed sharing it ever since. Our kids played it as young as early elementary school. Some elementary schools have SET tournaments. Emphasis on shape, color, and shading capture the interest of both genders and make math more fun for all. With 12 cards spread out, players compete to be the first to identify a SET. When the 3 cards in the SET are taken, 3 more take their place. If you’d like to try playing SET online, you should visit the SET Daily Puzzle. Completing the puzzle enters you in a weekly drawing for a free game! ![]() Topic: math Age Level: elementary You'll use it daily This math-mom.com review was last updated on Dec 06, 2005. |
