Sid Meier's Civilization IV

Kids will quickly become mesmerized as they build a civilization which needs a language, trade rules, and contact wtih other groups. They will journey through their own time and space as they work to build their own empires. They’ll learn about culture, communication, and government in the process.

Our kids played an earlier version of this game for hours. It was fascinating to see them talk about this game among themselves and “coach” each other through the finer points!
