With this butterfly garden, you’ll see larvae eat and grow and then eat and grow some more. Shortly after it hangs in a “j”, the larva becomes a pupa. It’s amazing to watch the transformation into a butterfly. If you provide the butterflies with a host plant (thistle for painted ladies), the females will lay an abundance of eggs after mating.
