What kind of bug is this?
The world of insects and arachnids (Great science adventures)
by Dinah Zike This unit on insects emphasizes student inquiry, discovery, and application. Small books (which you put together) provide all the bits of information students will need to use. If you don’t use a library regularly this may be helpful, but you need a system to keep track of the books. (A large ziplock bag served this purpose for us.) For the hands on person, students make lots of diagrams and displays of information. If you mix this with her suggested investigations, you have a balanced bug unit. ![]() Topic: science Age Level: elementary You'll use it daily This math-mom.com review was last updated on Dec 07, 2005. |
